Jeanette has almost 20 years of leadership experience in diverse and dynamic workplaces.​ She’s passionate about helping individuals and organizations reach their full potential. By combining world-class research with practical leadership principles and coaching, she assists clients in making lasting change. She began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi in 2003. After completing her service, she took a job with African Parks Conservation, then ASAP Africa. She worked in Malawi for 6 years in varying capacities, focusing on food security for rural, subsistence farmers. In 2009, she moved to Rochester, New York and joined the region’s food bank, Foodlink. For the next six years, she held varying management and leadership roles there. Ultimately, she became their Co-Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer. She oversaw the sourcing and distribution of over 18 million pounds of food per year to over 500 partner organizations across 10 counties in upstate New York. She left Foodlink in 2015 to join her dad in launching Batiste Leadership. Jeanette graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Environmental Science and a B.A. in Political Science. She went on to receive her MSc in Evnvironment and Development from the London School of Economics. She proudly completed her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Trainer Certification in 2015 and incorporates mindfulness in her leadership coaching and training.
